Brent Mason - Hot Wired intro

First, a humorous quote from the Brent Mason Message Board by Anonymous:

"One day I bought a Brent Mason demonstration video and tried to copy some"chickin pickin stuff"- now I decided to throw my guitar into a river on a moonless winter night."

I´ve seen a couple of transcriptions of Brent Mason´s Hot Wired intro on the web, and they´re all a bit different!
However, this is how I would play it (note: Brent also uses a thumbpick).

Note: The story behind the song being in B-flat instead of A, which would be the most likely key, is (so I´ve been told by someone who actually met Mason and asked him) that when the basic track was recorded, in A, Brent thought it was a bit too slow. So, instead of recording it again, they pitched the backing track up a semi-tone to B-flat and then Mr Mason tuned his guitar up half a step and recorded the solo guitars. Since I didn´t know this when I picked it out, I played it with a capo on the first fret, which, I must admit, makes things a little confusing on the guitar neck. I´m glad we got that straightened out...
